1. Scope
These terms apply to the use of Disc-Tools and all provided tools, profiles, APIs and content.
2. No warranty for results
All tools are provided without any guarantee of availability, accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose. Results may be incorrect, incomplete or outdated and must be independently verified.
3. User responsibility
Users are solely responsible for their inputs, actions and use of results. Misuse, unlawful use, infringement of third-party rights, circumvention of protections or violations of Discord, Spotify, SoundCloud or other third-party terms are prohibited.
4. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator excludes liability. Claims based on intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health and mandatory statutory liability remain unaffected. No liability is accepted for indirect damage, data loss, lost profit, downtime, third-party errors or user misconduct where legally permissible.
5. Third parties
Disc-Tools is not affiliated with Discord Inc., Spotify, SoundCloud or Cloudflare. Third-party services may apply their own terms and privacy rules.
6. Discord server and bot
Membership on the associated Discord server is subject to the rules posted there. The Discord bot logs joins and leaves for security purposes. Use of the server and bot implies acceptance of these terms.
7. Premium subscriptions
Disc-Tools Premium is a paid subscription service. The following terms apply:
- Price: €5.00 per month (or as otherwise displayed on the website), plus any applicable VAT.
- Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew each month unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- Cancellation: You may cancel at any time via your Stripe customer portal. Access to Premium features continues until the end of the current billing period.
- Gift purchases: Premium gifts are one-time payments (€4.00) that grant 1 month of Premium to the recipient. They do not auto-renew. The recipient must have a Discord account; we are not responsible for incorrect Discord IDs entered by the buyer.
- Role assignment: The Premium Discord role is provided as a convenience and may be delayed or removed if the user leaves the server. No entitlement to a specific role exists.
8. Username history
Our Discord bot tracks username changes of server members. The old and new usernames are stored with a timestamp and made publicly available via the Username History tool on our website. By being a member of the Discord server, you consent to this tracking. If you wish to have your username history removed, contact us at [email protected].
9. Verification
Certain features (e.g. membership on the Discord server) may require verification. During verification, your Discord ID and a SHA256 hash of your IP address are processed. The raw IP is never stored. Verification serves security and alt-account detection.
10. Blocking and access restrictions
The operator may block, remove or restrict users, IP addresses, accounts, team profiles or content at any time in cases of misuse, security risks, legal violations or operational issues. Violations of the Discord server rules or our policies (including chargebacks or fraudulent payment attempts) may also result in a block and forfeiture of Premium access.
11. Changes and discontinuation
Features, tools, APIs, pricing and Premium subscription terms may be changed, restricted, disabled or permanently discontinued at any time. In the event of discontinuation of the Premium service, affected subscribers will be notified and will not be charged after the discontinuation date. No refunds for partial periods will be provided.
12. Final provisions
German law applies unless mandatory consumer protection rules provide otherwise. If individual provisions are invalid, the remaining provisions remain effective.
13. GIF uploads
The GIF Upload feature allows users to upload, share and browse animated GIFs. The following additional terms apply:
- User-generated content: You are solely responsible for the GIFs you upload. You warrant that you own all rights to the uploaded content or have obtained all necessary permissions, and that the content does not violate any applicable law or third-party rights.
- Prohibited content: Uploading illegal, abusive, harassing, violent, sexually explicit content or content depicting minors in a sexual context (CSAM) is strictly prohibited. Violations will result in immediate deletion, permanent ban and, where required by law, reporting to the relevant authorities (e.g. NCMEC, BKA).
- NSFW content: GIFs containing not-safe-for-work material must be marked as NSFW during upload. Mislabeling may result in content removal or account restrictions.
- Age restriction: Access to NSFW GIFs is restricted to users aged 18 or older. We may ask for your date of birth to verify your age. Providing a false date of birth is a violation of these terms.
- Moderation: All uploaded GIFs are subject to moderation. GIFs may be rejected, removed or hidden without prior notice at the operator's discretion. Moderators may block or delete content that violates these terms.
- Storage duration: GIFs may be deleted after a period of inactivity or at the operator's discretion. You may request deletion of your GIFs at any time by contacting [email protected].
